New Porsche Cajun 2013

Porsche is preparing a new car called the Cajun, the younger brother of Cayenne. Each element is exactly the same as

sharp as his older brother. Starting the Cajun CUV (compact SUV or coupe UTE) plan in the spring of 2013 - but you can see it two years earlier.
Sports crossover SUV, based on some updated Audi Q5. The Audi want to Porsche focused on a more dynamic autonomous three-door version, but Weissach argues that it needs in the four-door model to ensure significant returns.
Wow. It looks like Porsche is removed away from sports cars and builds even more SUVs?

Yes. Although the old rule was categorically against Cajun, cautioned that it would devour profits more lucrative Cayenne, the new boss Matthias Mueller sees this as an opportunity for the development of car production at about 50,000 units per year. First we see the first full-size four-door coupe, and then at the end of 2014 two-door version based on a shortened platform.
Cajun will be larger and therefore potentially more aggressive than the Q5.
So how will the new Porsche Cajun?
The rear overhang is reduced by 30 mm, the roof will fall by 20 mm and the width will be increased by 15 mm. Big tires on 19 - and 20-inch alloy wheels. All external and internal elements, of course, be styled from scratch, windshield angle, the firewall and the rack should be left as is.
To provide a more sporty, driver's seat, steering column and instrument panel are taken from the new Boxster, complete with instruments and traditional ignition. The center console is lifted at an angle, in the style of Panamera.
The base model will be four-seater. The front and rear optics will be a high-intensity LED matrix in the form of the beam. Together with the appearance of Q5, on Porsche Cajun will be transferred to the chassis, steering, axles, transmission, Quattro, six-and seven-speed dual-clutch, as well as engines, albeit in modified form.
That under the hood of the new Porsche Cajun?
Here is a summary of an exclusive four designated engines:
2,0 TFSI, 240HP
3,0 TFSI V6, 292 hp
2,0 TDI, 190 hp
3,0 TDI V6, 265 hp
As you can see, Porsche increased the engine power of Q5 to 20 strength in all units. In addition, plans are Cajun Turbo S. He will have his Porsche twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 rated at 350HP
Where Porsche will produce a new Cajun?
Ideally, CUV will be produced in Ingolstadt, along with the Q5. But as the Bavarian factory is already working at 105% capacity is likely to be built Cajun in Leipzig, the home of Cayenne.
Prices are expected to be higher than the Q5 is about 15%.
